MakeMyDemo ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at makemydemo.com.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and display name via Firebase Authentication. You may optionally sign in with Google.
• Content You Provide: The URLs you submit for demo generation, along with any preferences you configure (background, font, voiceover style). This content is stored to generate and retrieve your projects.
• Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with our service, including pages visited, features used, and browser/device metadata, to improve reliability and performance.
• Payment Information: Credit purchases are handled by our payment processor. We do not store your card details on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate your demo video by scraping the URL you provide and creating AI-produced assets.
• To manage your account, credits, and project history.
• To send transactional emails (e.g. video ready notifications, account confirmations).
• To diagnose errors, monitor system health, and improve our product.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to train AI models without explicit consent.

3. Data Storage & Infrastructure

Your data is stored using Google Cloud infrastructure, including Firebase (authentication and database) and Google Cloud Storage (generated video files). Data is stored in servers located in the United States.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase — Authentication and database
• Google Cloud Storage — Video and asset storage
• Google Gemini — AI content generation
• Google Analytics — Consent-based, pseudonymous website and funnel analytics
• Mixpanel — Consent-based product usage and funnel analytics
• Dodo Payments — Checkout and payment processing
• Loops — Transactional account and demo-status emails

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential storage to keep you signed in. Google Analytics and Mixpanel run only after you select “Allow analytics.” When enabled, we store a bounded first-touch source, campaign, landing path, referrer domain, and timestamp so we can understand which acquisition channels lead to activation and checkout, along with a random analytics identifier that is not your account ID. When you begin checkout after granting consent, we store that identifier and bounded campaign context on the internal order so a completed payment can be attributed to the acquisition funnel. This makes the analytics pseudonymous rather than anonymous because the order also belongs to your account. We do not store full landing-page query strings or advertising click IDs in this record, and we do not use advertising trackers. You can reset the choice by clearing site data in your browser.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and generated projects for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us, which will permanently remove your personal information and generated content from our systems within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access or export the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Object to or restrict certain processing

8. Children's Privacy

MakeMyDemo is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us immediately.
